Youth pastor Jonathan James Hartman has been arrested for allegedly molesting three girls, ranging in age from 13-15, and impregnating one of them. He is being held on $150,000 bond. There may be additional charges in the future.

Pastor Randall “Danny” Russell Sentenced for Child Sex Abuse

Pastor Randall “Danny” Russell was sentenced on April 21, to 15 years in prison for molesting an underage girl and taking advantage of another by photographing her in the nude, according to the linked article. This sentence was part of a plea agreement that dropped 18 other charges against him and limited the term of his prison sentence to a maximum of 15 years. He was sentenced to two 15-year prison terms, to run concurrently.

I have just received confirmation that Chester Mulligan will be in court tomorrow, Apr. 22, at 9 a.m. for sentencing, after pleading guilty to the charges of sexual abuse against him. At this point, the information has not be published but has been confirmed.

I will post more tomorrow as I have more information. Once Mulligan has been sentenced, and I have official confirmation, I will have a significantly more detailed post.

Pastor James R. Harris Charged with Child Sex Abuse

The Rev. James R. Harris of Palm Beach County, FL, was arrested April 15, and charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor, lewd or lascivious battery, child abuse, showing obscene material to a minor and promoting sexual performance by a child. According to the linked article, police believe he was attempting to flee to avoid arrest when he was apprehended.

Former Pastor W. Frank Brown Arrested for Child Sex Abuse

Former pastor W. Frank Brown was arrested last Tuesday on charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child.

Brown was pastor of Bellmead First Baptist Church, in Bellmead, TX. His wife submitted his resignation two weeks before his arrest.

According to the linked article, “the incidents began about four years ago in another state. There, Brown is accused of molesting girls aged 9 or 10. When he moved to Texas, Police say Brown assaulted a victim as well.

“Police say the alleged sexual assaults took place hundreds of time, some of which were in Robinson, Harris Creek and in Waco.”

Pastor Harry Benson Arrested for Child Sex Abuse

Minister Harry Benson was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of first-degree rape, 12 counts of unlawful sexual contact and one count of sexual solicitation of a child. Benson is a senior pastor at a United Methodist church in the Newark area of Pennsylvania.

Youth Worker David Frank Martin Arrested for Child Sex Abuse

Youth group counselor David Frank Martin was arrested again Wednesday night on additional child abuse charges. Martin was a part-time employee of Faith Fellowship Church in Melbourne, FL. According to the linked article, he was originally arrested two weeks ago on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation and sexual battery on a minor, but had bonded out.

However, additional allegations were made against him and he has been re-arrested and is being held on $350,000 bond.
