Several people have asked about making donations to me and to this work. I have thought long and hard about this. At first I was reluctant, without realizing I had a wrong perspective on the entire issue.

I have since realized that God tells us to sow and reap in giving for our own blessing. He promised blessing. For the best harvest, we should sow into good ground. How can we know where there is good ground for sowing?

The best way I’ve found to determine what is good ground for sowing is to sow where I am being benefited – because I know God is working there to feed me and others. That ground is bearing fruit that I can see in my own life. That is good ground. So that has become my criterion for giving — I give where God is feeding me and growing me.

This site is a growing gift of love to God and to you who are walking where I have walked, too. If God blesses you through this site, I would ask you to consider giving to God through this site. Whether it’s a one-time gift or whether you decide to give consistently, whether it is here or elsewhere, giving where God is feeding you will reap a harvest of blessing in your life, because God’s Word is sure. He said we will reap abundantly, with the measure we use in giving.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

I have found this true in my own life and it has revolutionized my giving. I have no problem giving with a cheerful heart out of intense gratitude to God — for the way He is growing and feeding me through the people He is using in my life.
